Next to Normal is the acclaimed, groundbreaking rock musical that "pushed Broadway in new directions."

Set in modern suburbia, Next to Normal presents one family's struggle to take care of themselves and each other in the face of mental illness, grief, suicide and drug abuse.

 

This Pulitzer Prize-winning story concerns on a mother who suffers from bipolar disorder and her family, who each face their own issues while coping with her illness. An emotional powerhouse set to a thrilling contemporary score, Next to Normal delivers equal doses of real-life anguish and divine hope.
