Eleanor Pigliavento

1931-2022

Eleanor Pigliavento was one of the old stalwarts at SLOC. A remarkable woman who was a dedicated wife, mother, and a beautiful performing artist. Eleanor along with her husband Orlando, daughters Debra, and Michelle, have been an intracule part of SLOC for decades. Although not active in recent years, her commitment to SLOC will always be remembered and appreciated. Also, her influence as an instructor at the Orlando School of Dance, lives on in the lives of the many/hundreds of students she instructed. The school’s recitals that were held at Proctors, where a special treat to behold.  And don’t forget Proctor’s Off-Broadway Babies. What chorographical precision. Just like the Rockettes. I will never forget the Wooden Soldiers number.SLOC CREDITS: Assistant Choreographed
