Playbill- Bio Submission Page!

Limit your bio to about 75 words. A couple over is ok. A couple hundred over is not ok.
Bios should be in 3rd person.
- Yes: “Jeffrey appeared as Miss Hannigan in Annie.”
- No: “I appeared as Miss Hannigan in Annie.”
If you are under 18 years old, do not list your age, grade, hometown or school.
- Yes: “Jeffrey played Miss Hannigan in his school’s production of Annie.”
- No: “Jeffrey is a 15 year old sophomore and played Miss Hannigan in the Horace Green Prep School production of Annie in Staten Island, New York.”
It is suggested (but not required) that you highlight any previous SLOC experience in addition to roles with other companies, personal interests, and/or interesting tidbits. We love a good tidbit.
When listing the title of a show, please DO NOT use quotation marks, underline, or all caps.
- Yes: Annie or Annie
- No: “Annie” or Annie or ANNIE. (Unless you were in HAIR or RENT! which are correctly written in all caps)
94.8% of people start their bio with “so and so is excited to….” Try to be unique and to think of a different way to start yours. This is a real statistic.
