A young prince, longing to find passion and purpose in his life, embarks on an adventure filled with war games, romantic entanglements, and political intrigue. He soon finds that true happiness may be more complicated than he thought. Pippin is a humorous coming-of-age story about identity and the danger of false appearances.
PIPPIN is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.

Audition Dates
- Friday, February 7, 2025; sign in begins at 6:30 pm with auditions starting at 7 pm.
- Saturday, February 8, 2025; sign in begins at 12 pm with auditions starting at 12:30 pm
- You only need to attend one of these sessions.
- Callbacks, by invite only, will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 12:00 pm

- Auditions are NOT in the main theater building. If you’re not familiar with our campus, be sure to use the address above in your GPS and don’t just enter “SLOC”
- Free parking is available in the city-owned lot across the street.
What to Prepare for Auditions
- Please prepare 16 to 32 bars of music from a Broadway show – ideally in a style similar to the show. Singing from the show is welcome, but not required.
- An accompanist will be provided so please have sheet music in the correct key.
- Dance call. Bring or wear clothes and shoes you can move in.
- Please familiarize yourself with the dance call before your audition. We will be reviewing the dance at auditions, as well, but for us to truly be able to see everyone’s technique and skill we are asking everyone to do their best to learn the call beforehand. Dance Call Video
- Readings from the script will be done at callbacks.
- You may complete the Audition Form in advance or complete it when you arrive at auditions.
Rehearsal Dates
- Rehearsals will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings, 7 pm-10 pm, and on Sunday afternoons 2:00 pm-5:00 pm.
- Please note rehearsal times are subject to change based on cast/crew availability.
- Full cast read-through will take place either February 23, 2025 at 5:30 pm
- Rehearsals will begin Monday, February 24, 2025.
