Wannabe rock star, Dewey Finn finds himself down on his luck and struggling to make ends meet. Desperate for cash, he poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. When he learns that his class of straight-A students know nothing about rock and roll, Dewey makes it his mission to educate them and uncover their true musical potential.
