John was an accomplished character actor who appeared with a variety of theater groups:
Schenectady Civic, Curtain Call Theater, Confetti Stage, Schenectady Community College Players, Last of the Mohicans: Outside Drama, Polar Express, many shows with Classic Theater Guild, and with Schenectady Light Opera.
His last appearances on stage were in 12th Night. He played the role of the Priest. Classic Theater Guild, Oct. 2023 and with the New Russian Cultural Center. In the play, Once Upon a Time in Anatevka. His role was as a Russian Orthodox Priest. April 2024.
