We are making our theater fully ADA compliant so everyone can experience the thrill of live theater.
THE VISION
Fully ADA Compliant Backstage Area
We are expanding our backstage area with ADA compliant dressing rooms, restrooms, hallways, and widened doorways. We are also building an exterior access ramp to the stage door and leveling the steps to the stage to create a completely barrier-free environment.
Campus Accessibility & Beautification
Campus navigation will be made safer and more accessible by installing clearer signage and brighter lighting to identify key entrances. We are beautifying and reconstructing pathways to create smooth, direct access across our grounds.
Revitalized Lobby
We are expanding our restroom facilities to prioritize accessibility and patron comfort. Additionally, our Box Office and waiting area will be reconfigured to streamline traffic flow, while fully ADA compliant access will be established across all public entrances and spaces.
On-site Set Build & Storage Facility
A separate facility dedicated to building and storing set pieces, tools, and equipment will allow for more space inside the theater, eliminating clutter and potential hazards to our cast, crew and volunteers.

*Special Donor Recognition
Donors who make a cumulative gift of $2,500+ to the Staging the Future Campaign will receive special recognition in the new SLOC Musical Theater lobby upon completion of the project. This display will honor those whose generosity helped make our theater more accessible and welcoming to all.
For gifts of $25,000+, donors may be eligible for naming recognition associated with designated spaces, features, or other elements of the SLOC Staging the Future Campaign. All naming opportunities and associated recognition are subject to the prior approval of the SLOC Musical Theater Board of Directors. The Board reserves the right to approve, modify, or decline any proposed naming arrangement and to determine the appropriate form and duration of such recognition.
