David E. Perriman

David was heavily involved with community theater. As a director, producer, an actor with more than 30 roles under his belt, or working in various positions backstage, David was an active member of the local theater scene. David was involved with SLOC, but mostly with Schenectady Civic Players.

David was a man dedicated to volunteerism.  After moving to Arizona in 2000, David volunteered at the Church of the Red Rocks, at the Fort Verde State Historical Park, and he directed and acted in community theater. Community theater, that great artistic thread that is inter woven among thespians. Once the acting bug hits you, it doesn’t let go! In 2016, David and Barbara wanted to be closer to their family, so they moved to Las Vegas.

Even in death, David’s sense of volunteerism and commitment to his fellow human beings is evident. He donated his body to Science Care.

One of the highest praises you can give an actor is that, “he is easy to work with.” David was a kind and gentle man. He earned that praise.
